Q: How has Uconn been?
A: “UConn has been wonderful. I’m at UConn Stamford for this year and then I’m going to Storrs and it is a great environment. I have small class sizes, an apartment for a dorm, and it’s a great community because I’m closer with my professors and it’s really just wonderful. I’m a part of student government and I’m the Director of Special Events and also a tour guide, so I’m very involved in my community.”
Q: How does college differ from high school?
A:“I have a lot more freedom. I pick my own classes and I have a lot more time in between which is really nice and it’s rare for me to have a six hour day at school compared to high school.”
Q: How did Foran prepare you for College?
A: “I was able to take a bunch of ECE classes and AP classes and because of that I have a lot of credits under my belt and I’m able to move forward that way. I’m able to have more classes which puts me in a higher place, meaning I don’t have to take some of the basic required classes in college.”
Q: Was college life hard to adjust to?
A: “Not really. I really enjoyed the freedom and spending my own time making my own schedule, buying my own food, and taking care of myself. I really appreciated that. I made a lot of great friends and it’s a great community here so I’m very happy with it.”
