Coffee, teas, energy drinks, smoothies, lemonades, shakes, and sparkling water, 7 Brew has it all! The coffee shop made popular by the internet opened in Orange, CT, on October 13.
7 Brew has a full menu of over 20,000 different drink combinations. The menu features drinks that are not very common in other coffee shops, as well as regular coffee. They also serve other drinks, such as energy drinks and flavored sparkling water. Most coffee shops don’t serve anything like that, making 7 Brew new and different, especially in Orange and Milford.
Additionally, they are also a drive-thru coffee shop, which is not common locally or overall. Bringing convenience and efficiency for large quantities of customers who will be there for their opening and at any time after.
7 Brew was first started in 2017 with their first “stand” in Rogers, Arkansas, with only a dream and their 7 original coffees on the menu. The name stems from those original 7 coffees. Today, there are about 497 stands all around the country.
“Because you getting your daily dose of energy isn’t just about quality and speed. At 7 Brew, it’s all about the connections we make,” states the 7 Brew official website.
7 Brew Heroes are also a big part of the company. A 7 Brew hero is somebody who goes out of their way to make the world a better place. Every month, communities can nominate a person they believe has met the criteria on the 7 Brew official website. If they win for the month, they receive a $500 prize. And at the end of the year, one winner will take home the grand prize of $10,000.

Recently, one of the business teachers, Melissa Cacioppo, was able to get free 7 Brew coffees for the teachers’ lounge by entering Foran into a promotion. They provided 75 different iced coffee and tea flavors. As a preview of the new store coming to Orange, many teachers were satisfied with the coffee and are anxiously waiting for the store’s opening.
Cacioppo states, “I tried the Blondie and it was good but a bit on the sweeter side. I think it is more of a treat or dessert type of coffee, but they do have regular coffees that I have not tried yet.”
Students have also taken an interest in the coffee shop; sophomore Ryan Lawrence visited the 7 Brew in Wallingford and got a lemonade with blue raspberry, kiwi, and lime.
“It was a very unique drink that you wouldn’t expect at a coffee shop, but I really enjoyed it and I would recommend it to others,” states Lawrence.
As 7 Brew opens its doors to the community, students, teachers, and many locals are excited to try all of the different drink combinations they have to offer.
