Foran Lacrosse just recently started their season off with two scrimmages at Guilford. They faced Conard and Fitch and sadly lost both. Both teams were very talented but the Lions still went out there and put up a fight, they still managed to go out there and put all their effort into the game. The Lions third scrimmage was against Bunnell and they won. Coach Adkins actually teaches at Bunnell so it was a very intense game with some fun competition. Many players had goals in the Bunnell game, some of players are Jake Lambert, Bobby McGinnis, Luke Gibbs, Dan Tobin, and Kyle Lang. The Lions are expected to have a successful season. Captain Ryan Manning says “Although I didn’t get to play in the previous scrimmage I think we looked really good and should have a great season.” The Lions home opener is April 9th against North Branford at 11.
