The classic television series Gilmore Girls will be returning to Netflix on November 25 with a four episode reunion, Gilmore Girls: A Life In the Making.
Gilmore Girls is a seven season, hit show based around a young mother, Lorelai, and the strong bond she finds with her daughter, Rory. Lorelai is known for her incredible wit and constant defiance toward her own parents. Rory, being the exact replica of her mother with a taste of introversion, also has that sense of humor that drives everyone to ordnance. In the small Connecticut town of Stars Hollow the two girls find love, friendship, and a handful of gossip.
The new series is expected to have the same fast paced dialogue and beloved characters. Gilmore Girls: A Life In the Making will have a 90 minute episode for each season of the year, beginning with Autumn. Actors Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Melissa McCarthy, Scott Patterson, Milo Ventimiglia, and Kelly Bishop are all confirmed to make an occurrence`. Natalie Hubler, sophomore class president, said, “I’m most excited for finding out if the characters are actually living the life they always planned.” Rumor has it that Rory is not as successful as she had once planned to be. She can be seen in the trailer telling her friend Jess Mariano that she is no longer a contender, leaving the fans to wonder, a contender for what?
The Foran community loves this show for several reasons. “My favorite part is the relation it has to our teenage years,” said junior Ethan Skuches. Kayla Fratarcangeli, also a junior, said, “I love Lorelai and Rory’s relationship.” Hubler, Fratarcangeli, and sophomore Charlotte Ardrey all plan on binge-watching the series the day it comes out.
Check out Netflix at 12:00am on November 25 to see how their lives have changed!
