Joseph A. Foran High School welcomes back its school store this month. Located on the second floor in between the media center and red hall, this room is a hop, skip and a jump away from anywhere. Organized by Mrs. Brown, a business teacher and DECA advisor, the school store will be run by DECA members around the school. As of right now the school store will be open 1st, 2nd, 6th, and 8th period. Volunteer, junior Anthony Capua states, “It’s a great opportunity to get volunteer hours and learn common business skills.” He is very excited to begin this new venture and urges students to show their support or even try DECA. This year there will be the introduction of new drinks such as black cherry sparkling water and V8 Fusion. There will also be fruit roll ups and chocolate pop tarts. Chocolate chip cookies and apple churros will be freshly baked every morning. The prices are incredibly low as well. The classic Lion Pride apparel is available in an array of colors. There are lanyards as well as Foran drinking cups and drawstring bags. Mrs. Brown is very excited for this upcoming year and the staff are friendly and eager to welcome any student into the store.
