If anyone’s looking to get in shape but doesn’t know where to start, the Milford Edge is one location that offers personal training. Devin Clark is a personal trainer with over eight years of experience, and he has no plans of stopping. Not only does Clark train others to be better versions of themselves, but he also trains daily to set a good example for his clients.

Clark is knowledgeable in the field of personal training, holding a degree in exercise science from Gateway.

Clark states, “I have a degree in the science behind what I do in order to train my clients. Knowing how to translate the science to my clients is beneficial to helping them achieve their goals in a timely manner.”

Clark is also a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), NASM corrective exercise specialist certified, and NASM integrated training series certified.

On theedgefitnessclubs.com, you can read his trainer profile which states, “I hone in on strength while working on any weakness. I will always push my clients, but I push them because I care. I want my clients to see results as much as they do.”

Clark has an extensive background in training clients to perform better every day, but he also spends hours a week meal prepping, counting calories, and training twice a day. By doing so, he was able to win USAPL (USA Powerlifting)  powerlifting two-time state champion and become a USAPL powerlifting two-time national competitor. He believes it’s important to be involved in powerlifting to invoke a mentality in his clients that is unteachable from someone who isn’t.

Joe Petrillo, general manager, says, ¨Ever since I came to the Milford Edge, Devin has been my right-hand man. I know I can trust him to take care of the gym while I’m not there.¨

Clark says, “There are only so many hours in a day, so I’m in the gym early and leave late.”

He can be seen getting his first workout at around 6:30. Then, he checks in with his clients and socializes around the gym. Clark has no plans to stop personal training, but in the future, he plans to have his own business or own his own gym.

Foran graduate (2020), Malcolm Chavez, shares that, “Just from talking to Devin you can tell that he is nothing but pure and someone that loves helping other people. Devin can be a little intimidating if you haven’t talked to him because he’s a big guy that moves big weights but he’s also a big teddy bear.”

Chavez also says, “He’s someone who will put time and effort into helping you achieve your goals whether that be, being strong to compete, or looking a certain way. He is nothing short of a supportive hype man.”
