Averly Morillo is a Dominican gospel singer and songwriter who at age 20 has reached thousands of people with her hits songs “Mesias”, “Quien Podra?”, and “Derramo el Perfume”. In 2020, while just being a teenager she started to write music. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, Morrillo started making acoustic guitar covers in her room on Instagram. She released her first on June 25, 2021, called “Ante Tu Altar (En vivo)”. After this song came out Morillo gained popularity, the most streamed song on her Spotify profile “Derramo el Perfume” has 18,013,726 streams.
Morillo announced her 2024 tour on February 24, 2024 named after her song “Mesias”. On April 6, 2023, Morillo performed in John Lyman Center for the Performing Arts at Southern Connecticut State University. In the beginning of the event there were some technical difficulties, but despite the challenges Morillo was able to give a great performance. After waiting a longer time than usual for her to come on to the stage, many people cheered and were excited to see her perform her hit songs. She started with her song “Tuyo Es El Reino”, many were singing along, showing their favoritism towards the song. The crowd got loud and most were standing up when she was introducing her latest single “Mesias.” “Mesias” was released on February 10, 2024, and has gained a lot of attention with 2,300,598 streams on Spotify. The night showed off her music abilities and her high energy on stage, with her singing several high notes and jumping on stage, it was a night to remember.

Before Averly Morillo took the stage there were technical difficulties, after hearing about this news the crowd started praying and singing some of her songs.Morillo took the stage after difficulties that delayed her show.
