Located in Hamden, Connecticut (CT), Sleeping Giant is known for its enormous mountain and beautiful trees that sprout in the spring. As the weather slowly becomes warmer and the trees become brighter, people in the local community have started hiking up the mountain once again, enjoying the fresh air and gorgeous scenery. Visitors hike up the mountain not only to see the view but also to stay active. During spring, people need to go outside and actually interact with nature. Sleeping Giant offers this exact opportunity.

Hi, my name is Tiffany Wilson, and I’m a junior at Foran High School. This is my first year taking journalism, and I am a staff writer. I picked journalism because I love writing and learning about the people and places around me. At Foran, I am involved with the giving table. In my free time, I enjoy reading and hanging out with friends.
