According to Marketingcharts.com, roughly two out of every three teens follow influencers. Trends have taken over schools having people present themselves in the latest styles or listening to the trendiest things.
Uggs:
Uggs have been in style for a few winters now, and have been taking over schools. Uggs have a fuzzy lining in them, making them comfortable to wear. They are a neutral color, making it easy to pair things with. The price of these vary on the style of the Ugg being purchased, but most sell for around $80-$180.

The “Clean Girl” Aesthetic:
Health teacher Ms. Megan Hosking says, “I like everything about the clean girl aesthetic, things like Summer Fridays and wearing slick backs.”
The “Clean Girl” aesthetic has been in style recently and is a broader topic that includes things like slicking back your hair, Summer Fridays, jewelry, Rhode, simple and glowy makeup, and effortless but cute clothing. This is an easy-to-follow trend, making it a very popular style to engage with around school.

“I saw my brother wearing them and they looked cool,” says sophomore Cameron Ishmael
Erin Emanuel shorts are mesh basketball shorts that have taken over the basketball community at Foran. They are $25, making them an affordable and comfortable option with many different designs to choose from.
Evry Jewels:
Sophomore Scarlet Kuba says, “They have cute stuff that is cheap and it is good quality.”
Evry Jewels has many options for both silver and gold jewelry lovers. They often have sales, making them an affordable option. They are also water resistant, so they won’t tarnish as quickly as other jewelry options on the market.
Yeezy Slides:
Sophomore Tristan Haley says, “They are comfortable and easy to wear because you just slide them on, they also look good.”
Yeezy slides are an easy choice with guys, they are all over the internet and are a simple option. They come in many different colors and designs. These slides also go well with most outfits, as most of the colors are neutral. They are often re-sold, making them more expensive and averaging around $130-$160.
Owala bottles:
“I was influenced by people online and I liked the colors and style so I bought one,” states sophomore Maddie Salai.
Owala bottles are the most recent in-style water bottle around Foran. They come in a range of colors and sizes and are reasonably priced. The prices vary based on the size of the bottle from $25-$40 dollars, making them on the cheaper side of past trending water bottles

“I saw a pair online and they looked cool so I bought one and they were pretty comfortable so I bought more.” states sophomore Breadon Jankins.
Adidas have many options for both girls and boys to choose from, along with many different styles for various situations. Their shoes, depending on the style, can range from $65-$150. They also have lots of different colors to choose from and many different shoes that can match a variety of situations.
Brandy Melville:
“I personally love Brandy Melville because it offers people a way to take an effortlessly cute piece of clothing and wear and style it however they please,” states Sophmore Jaida-Marie Frais
Brandy Melville has been a very popular clothing brand for teens for many years. Their clothing is always in style and is a simple yet comfy clothing option. Their clothing can cost from $10-$40, making it a good quality choice for an affordable cost. There are stores located all over CT, sold in Pacsun, as well as the online store, making it an accessible brand.
Takedown:
“It’s popular among the combat sports community,” states sophomore Rowan Bodden
Takedown is a popular brand among the wrestlers in the school, with the comfortable material on the clothing, it is good for working out/practicing in. They sell lots of different clothing options, which usually go for around $40-$60 and come in different colors. If you need good quality workout clothes this could be the brand for you.
