In many aspects of everyday life, people are honored in different ways. Sometimes, it’s a memorial bench. Others, it’s a building. There are many types of memorials to keep someone’s memory alive and to educate others on what they achieved during their life.

**Danielle Kemp Field:** Foran’s softball field, dedicated to Danielle Kemp. Kemp was a three-sport athlete at Foran, but was primarily a star softball player, where she signed to play Division I softball with Stonybrook University. She passed away in 2017 from DIPG. **Vito DeVito Turf Field:** Sports complex dedicated to Vito Devito. DeVito was Foran’s first athletic director. He was also the football coach and athletic director at Johnathan Law High School. April 15, 2026. Photo courtesy: Abby Babcock

**Richard A. Herman Tennis Courts:** Foran’s tennis courts, dedicated to Richard A. Herman. Herman was a history teacher, vice principal, and principal at Milford High, as well as an interim principal at Foran when it originally opened. April 15, 2026. Photo courtesy: Abby Babcock

**Daniel S. Wasson Memorial:** Memorial Rock for Daniel S. Wasson in front of the Vito DeVito field. Wasson was a baseball and football player and captain. I picked journalism because I love writing and learning about the people and places around me. At Foran, I am involved in lacrosse and fencing.
