Even something often perceived as minuscule, like flowers popping up in the neighborhood, can serve as yet another symbol that spring is here. During this time of year, the flowers in the front yards of many people’s homes begin to bloom once more as it gets warmer and the sun is out for longer each day. Here in Milford, Connecticut, this spring has been especially colorful with a bevy of city blooms.

Hi! My name is Lisa Mohseni, and I’m a junior at Foran High School. This is my first year taking journalism, and I am a staff writer. I chose journalism because I enjoy writing and because I thought it would be another way to express myself. In my free time, I create art such as drawing, painting, and more.
