Girls Junior Varsity Lacrosse Takes the Field as a Team

For these junior varsity players, lacrosse is not only a competition but also a lifestyle. These girls put in hours of hard work, training, and getting to know their teammates better. They practice almost every day, rain or shine, just for this moment on the field. Each girl is filled with determination and passion to make the Foran High School girls’ lacrosse team the best it can possibly be. Whether they are cheering for their teammates on the sidelines or scoring the game-winning shot, these girls show that lacrosse is more than just a sport.

Hi, my name is Gianna Bellon, and I’m a sophomore at Foran High School. This is my first year taking journalism, and I am a staff writer. I picked journalism because I love writing and learning about the people and places around me. At Foran, I am a member of the cheerleading team. In my free time, I enjoy going to the beach, baking, and hanging out with my friends. Some other things about myself are that I have been dancing for eleven years, my favorite color is navy blue, and I have two dogs.
