Football season has officially begun for Foran, the first game is Friday, September 13. The coaches and players are very excited and eager to play. Senior and kicker, Jon Franco Menta says, “ I am really excited for the football season because I’ve always watched the games and now I get to actually play in one.” This year will be his first year ever playing football and his position is kicker. 

Junior, Wesley Buzzelle is extremely excited for football season and says he can not wait to see the turn out for the student section.  He says, “ Being disciplined, determined and hardworking will help to better myself this season.” Wesley also says he loves football because of the brotherhood formed, he has numerous friendships attained from football and he really enjoys the energy of  everyone on the team. 

 Jon Franco agrees with Wesley and says how he finds the team chemistry very interesting and has realized the mentality of the team is that everyone has to work together in order to achieve the goal, winning. He also says how he really enjoys the atmosphere when he is at practices and games which is why he is so excited for the season to officially start. 

Junior, Wyatt Guerni is excited for football to start because he really enjoys competition and learning new plays and says he has been working hard everyday to prepare for the season.

 Freshman, Jack Cushman says he’s excited for the new players and building a bond with the players and coaches. This will be Jack’s first year playing football at Foran, he is very confident in the team this year and is looking forward to playing with his teammates. The next home game is September 27 at 7:00 p.m.
