With 862 Crumbl locations worldwide the 29 thousand employees work diligently to serve their customers with a variety of six different cookies every week. But as of recently, Crumbl has developed into something bigger than just cookies; and other desserts.
As National Cookie Day is coming up on December 4th, many people love to celebrate with their favorite Crumbl cookies. This could be the usual chocolate chip, to the chocolate cupcake cookie. Although getting a cookie around this special day is important, Crumbl offers many other options.
While the Crumbl company grew they started to include mini cakes to their menu. These cakes would be included in their weekly six-pack of cookies such as the toffee cake, tres leches, butter cake, and even a double-layered afterlife cake based on the newly released movie, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.
Senior Avery Izzo states, “My friends and I usually go to Crumbul after cheer practice to try the new flavors every week, I tend to order the different mini cakes every week because I prefer them over the cookies.”
Crumbl took these cakes to the next level and decided to not only make them personal-sized, but shareable. Specifically, Crumbl released the family-sized celebration confetti cake that contains two layers of vanilla confetti cake, and two layers of vanilla buttercream frosting, then topped with rainbow sprinkles. This cake is eight inches and can typically serve between 17 to 30 portions.
These cakes tend to be purchased for anniversaries, birthdays, or even just for a sweet treat. Senior Lila Rothbard purchased one of these cakes for her birthday which happened to be on the day of a Foran girls swim meet.
Rothbard states, “Getting the Crumbl cake on my birthday was really special because we ordered it to the pool on the bus ride and I got to share it with the Foran girls swim team after the meet.”
In addition to these fluffy layered cakes, Crumbl is going to release hand pies for Thanksgiving week. The new hand pies come in a variety of flavors, including cookies and cream, pecan, pumpkin, french silk, key lime, and apple.
These small treats offer a different take on traditional holiday desserts, providing a more individual portion for those looking to try something new. With a mix of classic flavors and a convenient style, they could be a fitting choice for anyone looking for a simple dessert this season.
Sophomore Emily Ortiz states, “I’m excited about the new Thanksgiving pies Crumbl is releasing. They’re taking all the classic holiday flavors and making them a new dessert on their menu besides cookies. It is definitely something to look forward to this Thanksgiving.”
Crumbl’s new and improved menu with plenty of new flavors and desserts to choose from, makes the company more appealing and desirable to present and future customers.
