With the season finally at an end, Foran Girls swimming and diving made waves. This season, the girls went 7-5. This season’s captains were Ava Corsi, Gaby Tunucci, Emily Sportini, and Emma Longley. Three divers- Emma Longley, Brianna Laggis, and Claire Koppy-  made states. 12 swimmers- Jessica Anderson, Emma Bell, Arianna Chen, Isabelle Connelly, Ava Corsi, Emily Eschweiler, Jordan Macdonald, Ana O’Connor, Emily Sportini, Sophia Troanska, and Kaya Vital- all made states as well.

A total of five records were broken, including records for the 50 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 100 freestyle, and the 200 Free relay. Emma Longley also broke her previous record for 11 dives. Three swimmers on the team went all-state.  Mrs. Kristin “Skoach” Skuches and Ms. Meghan Condon led the team to victory, as the team overall were division two champions, making this their second year in a row. This is Skoach’s last year of coaching as head coach. The team is also losing 11 seniors this year, but fans and team members are still hopeful that they can continue on with their success streak.
